Mary Ann and I went to the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch (RPWR) on Wednesday, October 5. We got there at 7 and left at about 10. It was really nice weather in the morning, but by 10:00 it was starting to warm up.
We focused on warblers, but got some other shots, too. There were lots of egrets, herons, and water fowl (as usual). The Roseate Spoonbill is back, but we didn’t see it (it must have been in a secluded area roosting). We looked for the Black-and-white Warbler, but no luck. However, we did see the Townsend’s and Black-throated Gray Warblers.
Another nice trip to RPWR.

Nice photos! I think you are getting even better at wildlife photography! I love the reflection on the pond one too.
Thanks!
