Mary Ann had a day off Thursday, and we spent a few hours at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch. We got there at 7:00 AM, and left at about 10:00 AM.
There were reports of migratory birds at RPWR the day before we went, and we were hoping to see some warblers: Nashville, MacGillivray’s, Black-and-white. There were also reports of a rare visitor: the Northern Waterthrush. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any of those. But there were plenty of the ‘regulars’.
It was another nice visit to the Water Ranch.
