Fr Charlie and I went to RPWR on December 1. I got there at about 7:30. We left at around 11:30. There were two rare birds being reported: a Gray Catbird, and a Black-and-white Warbler. We didn’t see either. Both had been reported the previous day, and haven’t been seen since, so we missed them by one day. We got photos of some of the more common birds at RPWR. A Harris’s Hawk showed up being chased by a large flock of European Starlings. Mallards are so common I don’t usually bother with them, but posted one in flight.
