Mary Ann and Joe went to Kansas to visit family from Sep 16 to Sep 19, 2011. Thanks to Allegiant Air for the low rates!
We spent the time visiting family. We interviewed Bob about his experiences in the Navy in WWII. I video taped the interview, and we will submit it to the Library of Congress for the ‘Veteran’s History Project’. We’ll also send copies to family members.
I didn’t get any bird pictures on this trip because I forgot my battery charger (I left it plugged in along with the spare battery), and the video project used the only battery that I had. The most interesting bird for me was the Brown Thrasher I saw in Theresa’s backyard. They are common in Kansas, but we don’t see them in Arizona.

Hi Joe: Jim and Mom here. I was visiting Mom to deliver a new cell phone and have lunch, so we decided to look at pictures too. We looked at ALL of them. Lots of good pics of people, places, birds, animals and even yogurt. Thanks! Love from Jim and Mom.
